OPTION 1 - A ONE HOUR PRESENTATION - MAY BE USED AS a KEYNOTE, GENERAL SESSION, BREAKOUT OR STAFF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
In this presentation, Michelle sheds light on the insidious process of grooming as she shares her personal journey while dissecting each step of the grooming process. Through her dual lens as both a survivor and an administrator’s wife, she reveals how predators exploit a child’s natural desire for love, manipulating them into unwittingly consenting to their own violation. Her insights highlight the critical need for training and dispelling societal misconceptions so we can better protect our children.
OPTION 2 - EXTENDED TWO HOUR PRESENTATION - MAY BE USED AS A KEYNOTE, GENERAL SESSION, BREAKOUT OR STAFF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
In this presentation, Michelle expands on the Grooming 101 presentation by addressing societal misconceptions around victim disclosures. She then delves deeper into the lived experience of being a survivor of sexual violence, grooming, and institutional betrayal.
Option 3 - The intial "Grooming 101" ONE hour as a keynote with "It Is Your business" as a breakout
Michelle will deliver her original "Grooming 101" presentation as a Keynote, followed by an in-depth breakout session on "It Is Your Business." This expansion program challenges societal misconceptions about survivor disclosures, risk factors, what to look for and digs deeper into living with the aftermath of sexual violence, grooming, and institutional betrayal.
